2018 has been an amazing year! Shares of God’s Love could not have accomplished all we did without the Lord’s help and with everyone who donated resources/money, all our many faithful volunteers who gave their time to make every event successful, & those who faithfully prayed for us & our ministry!

Twice a month, Don & Victor share the Word & God’s Love at Erie City Mission during noon devotions and have seen several decisions to follow Jesus. We are so thankful for their faithfulness.
This summer, we ministered God’s Love at monthly children outreaches called “Scoops for Jesus”. Thank-you to Scott & Patty & Bonnell Collision staff for supplying ice cream, volunteers, & a beautiful ice cream truck. Thank you to our team leaders--Irene, Pastor Jerry, Paula, & Jeeva & volunteers! We know it takes time & resources to provide the puppets, Praise & Worship, illustrated sermons and we praise the Lord that this summer 58 children, moms, & dads received Jesus in their hearts. We rejoice & thank the host churches who have reported that they have fruit that remains. Praise God!!
Community Garden: This summer, SOGL also congratulates & thanks Doug, your family & Fruits of the Spirit team, who faithfully planted, grew, harvested, & delivered 450+ pounds for our Erie neighbors at the Emmaus kitchen in downtown Erie.
Winter Blessing, 2018- November 2nd – 17th, SOGL along with many donors & faithful volunteers distributed over 1,733 new warm coats, hats, gloves, & socks to children attending Erie’s Lincoln & Perry elementary schools. Thank you for every donation, every volunteer including representatives of the City of Erie employees who not only gave but help sort & distribute the winter clothes for children in need!
Christmas Blessing, 2018 - December 18-20th. We returned to Lincoln School with school supplies & 500+ Christmas gift bags & enjoyed giving these out during Santa’s yearly visit. Also, Lincoln, Perry, and Erie First Christian Academy School staff received totes & bags full of school supplies for their students.
Also, we were given 150+ new toys & immediately gave to a loving Erie church for a Christmas Blessing!
PERSONAL NOTES: We want to thank everyone, every business, every volunteer, & every prayer-warrior who helped us make a difference in Erie County neighbors & their children lives. On November 2nd as we drove to Winter Blessing, a large deer hit our car & totaled the car. We want to especially thank Scott & Patty Bonnell & staff at Bonnell Collision who took care of us, literally took us to the outreach across town along with all our supplies in their truck. We are forever grateful! Then, four days after our Christmas Blessing, Cheryl twisted her ankle & ended up in the Emergency Room on Christmas Eve am.
